What software do I need?

We recommend using Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.  To download the latest version of this software, please visit Microsoft at Microsoft

TIP's site requires Java and Macromedia Flash Plugins.  To download Java, please visit Java, select the Download Option for "Windows Manual Installation" and click on Open.  To download the Macromedia Flash, please visit Shockwave Flash, uncheck the "Install Yahoo toolbar" if desired, and click the Install Now button.

We also recommend that you have JavaScript and Cookies enabled (this is the default setting on Microsoft Internet Explorer) to enhance your web browsing experience.

What is Agent Access?

Agent Access is TIP's online application manager and repository. Appointed agents may request a user login from their  Underwriter or by clicking on Signup. Agents can complete applications for new and renewal business as well as view their own applications in TIP's online database.  Agent Access is safe, secure, and  streamlines the entire application process.

Why does my screen say that the page I want to view has expired?

This happens when you use the back button from your web browser on an Active Server Page (or .asp or .aspx page). This is a security feature so that secure pages are not stored locally on your machine.  Simply click the Refreshbutton on your browser to restore the page.

What do I do if I am asked for my password multiple times when downloading a form?

When downloading documents from TIP, you are required to enter a user name and password one time.  If the login box pops up again it may mean that you have entered your login credentials incorrectly.  If it continues to pop up, click on Cancel and the form will open if your login was validated.  If you are using Microsoft Office 2000, you may need to download service pack 1a to correct the problem.  You can download this at Microsoft.

Why does text not fit correctly on my screen?

TIP's website is best viewed using most default settings from Internet Explorer.  We recommend using a medium text size. 

To change the text size for this site go to View, Choose Text Size, and Select Medium from within your Internet Browser.
